Default Cottage Grove Lake

Went to Cottage Grove after dinner last nite for a little while. Ended up fishing off the dock at the dam. Just at dusk I caught my largest fish from there.I haven't caught a big fish in a while, but I'm thinking it was about 4 1/2 lbs, about 20 inches! Caught on a 5"senko in about 10 ft of water! Life is good DJD

Nice work! There is a fish-in there on Saturday the 19th if you can make it. I am also in Junction City, and would love to get out to Fern Ridge and have you show me where the bass are out there. I fished it years ago, just back in the creeks in a small 14' aluminum boat, but now have a skeeter and want to have spots close to home to go and fish. I haven't fished Fern Ridge lately because I was wondering if the draw down had a negative effect on the fishing. But from your earlier posts it looks like there are still lunkers around, at least near the dam!

I too own a skeeter starfire 115. I might be able to come up with some gas money if you want to fish together on the 19th.
