Default Looking for A/C for F-150

I am looking for an entire A/C kit for a 98 F-150.

I talked to AutoZone and they said I had to go to Ford. Bummer. Then someone on this board said they had found an aftermarket kit that bolted right on. He said it was a nightmare but worth it.
I am pretty savvy with searching the net but I have only found one kit. link to A/C at JC Whitney

I might add, I want the entire kit with directions. Not going to junk yards, not getting a piece here and there but the whole enchilada all at once.

Anyone help me out?

Thanks in advance,
Snowman

Beware of ordering anything from this outfit. It could turn into a very long wait. I ordered an item from them a couple of years ago and it took them a month and a half to ship and when it got to my house it was broken. So they made me wait until they sent me a prepaid shipping label to send it back and that was another week and a half. In all it was about four months before I actually got what I had ordered. Just a heads up about these guys.

Thanks for the info! I didn not know that about them. I have looked at their catalog many times but never ordered.

I just can't believe I can't find one online anywhere but that one place. It seems like it would be a hot item during this time of year.

Have you checked with Foster's Auto Parts? Used stuff, but I am sure they have recovered AC systems from totals or whatnot. I replaced my blower motor from there last year. Good prices.
