Default Bottom fishing off Newport

Are there any good folks out there that could email/post the GPS coords of a couple of good reefs to bottom fish off Newport ?

you dont need GPS for bottom fishing newport!! Just head south and fish between 3 and 7 miles in around 100 ft water.

Look for structure on the fish finder and drift until you get into them.

also look for the charters they always put the fish in boat. There are some nice reefs in front of seal rock also. Good luck!!!

Check a chart, off Seal Rock or off Beaver Creek, which is a mile or so north of Seal Rocks. There are lots of rocks there, you can find them using your ff. They are from 30 to 120 ft in depth. Specific spots aren't the key here, finding the fish is the key, I think the fish move around a bit in this area.

I sometimes do well a bit away from the really rocky areas on lings and black or blue rockfish. Also watch for schools of fish as you are looking for rocks, finding a school makes it quick and easy getting limits of rockfish.
