Default Best fish to the boat this season....................(so far)

This was taken on the Kilchis this past Monday (12/20). Pictured is Mike Sheridan with his first Steelhead ever! It measured 36" and estimated weight was 12 pounds. I know we're not supposed to post a lot of pics here, but with the weather I thought you might enjoy this beauty! Happy Holidays!

Beauty fish and t-shirt weather to boot. I'm just a little jealous.

Is this size of fish better than average for this system? Looks like this could be really exciting fishing with all the overstream veg and debris trying to get into the action.

Yes! It is MUCH larger than usual.... In fact, there usually are NO fish in the Kilchis and when there are, they are dinky! Like little troutlets!
NOT!
Just kidding...
What a beautiful fish, Marty! Hey, is it OK if I stop by in a little while? Have a little Christmas thing for you and Lee.

Meyersbilly,

This one is bigger than our average hatchery-raised fish (6-8 lbs avg). Although with this years improved ocean conditions, it appears the fish are more healthy and a little bigger than usual.

Pilar, Come on down!

Great looking buck Marty!! That is one of the nicest bucks you'll see, obviously a very fresh fish.

Looks like this is the season for Gone Fishin.
