Any Westport tuna reports?

Anybody have any tuna info out of Westport? Commercial or private.

We had 60-something fish on Thursday, about 45 - 48 miles out, edge of Gray's canyon. Group of us on the MS Magoo. Weather was pretty ugly. It sounds like a good score, but it was slow compared to previous trips in good weather.

Hamachi they are banging fish on the blue green line about 40 out my bud said it was a ripping edge Monday just loaded with fish, just a liitle north of westport

We had the snot beat out of us on Thursday as well and we were only a 5 miles out and about an hour North. Went out on the Hula Girl from Westport for a Rock and Coho combo. Good fishing though.

When are you thinking about heading out? We're trying to make up a good reason for this week, tuesday or wednesday. Then again, with a few folks going outta CR Tuesday, we may band with them. Alot depends on the forecast and reports. Westport is just over an hour from the house, but Ilwaco is almost 2. Then again, it'd be a wash if we had to run 3 (50 miles) hours from Westport vs 2 hours from Ilwaco. So if they pound 'em close outta Ilwaco on Monday, then down south looks good.

If we can't run for tuna out of La Push, a run down to Westport may work. I'd appreciate any reports, also.

Due to work constraints, my window is this coming Saturday through Wednesday. Gonna play it by ear and watch the SST & wx reports. I'll post when I'm going.
