ifish flagger
With hunting season around the corner, I was thinking of a way to identify a fellow ifisher whom is willing to take the risk to say hello while out and about. I was thinking of maybe tying a peice of flagging tape around the anteana or rear view mirror as a signal. Any takers on the idea?

Re: ifish flagger
Why don't you support ifish and buy a sticker?? Display the sticker then everyone will know who you are.

Re: ifish flagger
This is a good idea because then when other ifishers stop by our rig if anyone was thinking about doing something they shouldn't, this may scare them off.
I suppose it would be kind of cool that if someone stopped by to tie another piece of flagging on your antenna. Comforting to know someone stopped by to say and all is well with your rig.

Re: ifish flagger
I'll have an ifish sticker on my Jeep. Feel free to flag the Jeep if you want to.
As to buying an ifish sticker--go to the top of this screen and click on the word "decals."

Top or Bottom, I don't think it matters. But it could be a poll question, if anybody wants to post it.

Re: ifish flagger
IFish Decals! Jennie is fast on sending them too.
Perhaps we should assign an FRS or GMRS Channel to IFish?

Re: ifish flagger
iFish decals are great if you are in your rig, but if you are out hiking around... what then?
iFish decal on the forehead would suffice....
I like the FRS channel idea...

Re: ifish flagger
I ordered decals for my rig. Let's use a different color than yellow. I currently am flying yellow on my antenna for support of our forces, local and over seas that have been killed in the line of duty.

Re: ifish flagger
OK, then I pick CH14 sub00. I believe both FRS & GMRS can pick it up.
Stickfish, any thoughts??

Re: ifish flagger
I'm ok with 14 sub 00. Any FRS radio should be able to pick that up. I dunno about the GMRS band.

Re: ifish flagger
I'm so used to being an introvert while I'm out hunting. I don't think I'd always click with a person even if they were an ifish person. Then there is the problem of out hunting before sunrise and back after sunset. Get ready and rested at night or early morning.
Actually I have no problem talking with anyone. Sometimes people have to chase me away with a stick or by tossing dirt in my direction. I have started asking hunters I do talk with if they are on ifish. So far I've met one ifish person in the field this way.

If you are not in your rig (with the cool looking sticker) You could be spotted by wearing one of the cool looking hats.
