Default Best Deals to Las Vegas in November?

This is a great site because someone has always "been there done that". So heres the deal, I am going to Las vegas in November for 3 dyas 2 nights. I need air from Portland and two nights in a "NICE" place as defind by the wife. Not afraid to spend a "fair price" on a good room. I know you can get pkg. deals. Any one with recent travel expierence with this? Thanks in advance. Dave

We stay at Mandalay Bay, the wife likes the place......as for air, I just watch the fares on line and book it when I think its the right deal, sometimes a week before we leave. Sometimes I will get a package and sometimes I will book everything (air, hotel, car) separate. Have fun ,and double it !!!

I just got back this morning from Vegas. I think I got a pretty fair deal for a package. I went to an airline site (will pm the site) and chose the dates, then chose the motel. It was nice on this site because it showed the different prices of the different motels.
We stayed at Paris and I was pleasantly surprised with the room. Great view, easy to get to, quite, overall great place to be.

Another thing to mention is the ½ off ticket prices. There are a couple of places by M&M world that sell tickets at ½ off for same day tickets. I wish I would have known that sooner. It is not just for the big shows either. It includes things like a trip to Hoover Dam and smaller shows.

Hey Thanks Ken, I will of course try that. Air fares are still out of site. Maybe a pkg will be better if I tell them I have lots of money NOT. How is that new boat doing? Lots of Blood?

The packages are a good deal, but it might not hurt to contact the Stardust specifically. It's due for the wrecking ball in NOV/DEC and there may be deals available. Also, the packages for downtown casinos are always cheaper, probably goes without saying.
