felt a quake here
We felt a small earthquake. Things were rocking back and forth and it sure felt strong. Did anyone else feel it? It was around 1:40 AM.

Re: felt a quake here
felt it here in SE Portland. I was talking to a friend on the phone in Vancouver. She screamed, and then said Eric we had a quake. just then I felt it down here. It was a little one only lasted a few seconds.
Cool

Re: felt a quake here
It woke me up. It's actually the first quake to wake me from a dead sleep. I didn't feel any of the aftershocks though. I pretty much fell back to sleep shortly after the first.

Re: felt a quake here
Scared the dog. She ran around the bedroom whimpering for about 5 minutes. Tremble must have lasted for awhile. I dreamed I was on a boat and then I woke up due to dog and realized it was an earthquake. Mamma nature is alive and well.

Pretty good one 3.8, not real dangerous but hard to miss, but I slept through it.

Re: felt a quake here
If I had been under a house shoring up it for a move a 3.8 would have gotten my attention! When I was in California for a couple of years we were right on a fault and got 2s and low 3s all the time. At night it was quiet enough to feel and hear them, barely perceptable.

Re: felt a quake here
I didn't feel it myself but had a couple of our roosters crowing about 12:30. Makes me wonder if they knew something was up??? Just heard that they had a 4.0 down in SF last night also. Gee, wonder if they might be connected.

I knew someone would start up that was good.
Girlfriend woke me up and said the dishes were rattling. I said it was probably and earthquake and went back to sleep.

Re: felt a quake here
I was heading north to fish for sockeye on 205.
Trailer started bouncing and vibrating. After repairing the lights at the last minute I was thinking --- Now what?
