Default Clear Lake Bassin (pic)

I just got back from Clear Lake after hearing all the good reports down there. I got ahold of Mike N. and invited him to join me on a great trip. We caught around 100 fish a day and they were all good ones. We found fish on Jigs, Spinnerbaits, Frogs, Crankbaits, plastics. I even caught a huge catfish on a spinnerbait and Mike caught one too but I was having camera problems in the bright sun. I think Mike N. may be trading in his new N. River for a BassBoat

That Clear lake is in northern California. I recognize a few of those spots Doug! I love that lake! Are you going to be able to replicate that catch at Tenmile?

Doug,
How many days did you spend down there? I have been thinking about trying to make that trip in the fall, or next year. I might have a few questions for you.

We fished for 4 days and I'm going back in two weeks it was that good. Monkeyboy we probably caught more fish on one dock than the Tenmile open will see at the scales.
I am spoiled now and will have to work my tail off for 10 bites this weekend especially with 75 boats on that pond.
Good luck at Tenmile

KIL'er, Nice work down there. Had great ambitions of going to Clear Lake when I bought my 1st boat....still haven't made it down. Boy you guys must've hit it right...or is it always that good??

That's a very nice cat. Catfish must be more agrresive than we think, I too caught a couple on a spinnerbait over on the Snake early July....although not that big. Beautiful cat.

Good pics and thanks for sharing.
