Default Bow Setups

Man Im getting sooo excited for bow season. I got a new bow last fall and am really pumped to use it this year. Hopefully it can get me my first elk. Heres my setup:

Mathews Outback
Cabelas 65/80 carbons
Muzzy 100 gr broadheads
Trophy Ridge Flatliner Sight
SME launcher style rest

This bow has been good to me so far and cant wait to use it this year. So what are the rest of you guys shooting?

~5 yr old Martin Jaguar, Dusk Devil sights, drop away rest, Beeman graphite ?? carbon hunter, 100 gr Steel Force SHARP broadheads.

I shoot a '06 Martin Cougar C4. It has:

-Cobra Sidewinder 5 pin sight
-NAP Quicktune 2100 drop-away arrow rest
-Easton Axis arrows with Blazer vanes
-Sims Limbsavers
-Sims String Leeches
-Sims Limbsaver Express Stabilizer bar
-Martin 4 arrow qiver
-Winners Choice shooting string and buss cable
-Oversized guideless peep
-bow string is double served with a string loop

It's super quiet and shooting 272 f.p.s. just had it chronoed 2 days ago.

Wow you guys are dialed in. I have a bow, a Martin Jag I'm pretty sure.

It shoots arrows, the beman carbon kind. When I wish to know what grain they are though, I have to look on the shaft.

From there on, all the brand names get a little shady...but it shoots straight and sometimes I do too, so it works for me.

I also can not wait till the season starts. Went to a seminar hosted by the Bow Rack with Jim Horn speaking on early season elk calling and after listening to him for 2 1/2 hours last night I want to hunt right now.

Its the best string you can have on a recurve or a long bow.

No I do not dip my own......Bow Rack does it for me. but m thinking of trying some wraps. you can get some awesome personalized ones from a guy named bowmanhunter on ebay
