Default Newport - Depoe boat slips

We usually trailer to wherever, but just curious if Depoe or Newport has any boat slips you can rent for a weekend? I hate the thought of leaving the boat outside a hotel room, while all the goodies walk away...

We were in Newport last weekend and considered the same thing. We ended up doing the motel parking lot thing with no problems. There seemed to be a lot of open space down by the old launch, but I don't know who you would talk to to get permission or a slip. Maybe check the bait and tackle shop there. Good luck.

I think the port runs it through the new RV park office?

The port office has moved over to the new boat launch area but is up by the road. Earlier in the year they charged me $13.00 per night for my 2301 Striper. Newport is a great facility, and they have security. I have never had a problem leaving my boat.
