Default Trojan Sturgeon

I was out there last week and knocked'em dead, but I've heard that it has slowed way down. I was fortunate enough to tell my boss about my luck and he convinced me to take him out there Friday( took a lot of arm twisting, ha ). Anybody been having any luck?

Yeah, that's the main run. Watch for gulls, harbor seals and sea lions before then. They haul out on the gravel bars as far up the Cowlitz as Castle Rock. I have caught smelt by Carnival Market as early as New Years weekend.

The run was good last year for the first time in 5 years. Don't miss the early pilot run because it may be all you get!

Carnival Market (360) 425 6622, they don't mind, just be understanding if they seem busy. They can't make any money off answering the phone. Buy a bag of chips, some adult beverage or something and thank them in person for the phone report when you go there to dip some smelt.

Friends don't friends use GI JOES $1 a piece frozen smelt!!!!!!!!

The bend is your friend!
