Default Contest for Eldon Ladds Steelhead Reference Guide

http://www.ifish.net/books.html
To win a free copy of Eldon's book, which you may read about at the link above, please answer this question. The first correct answer posted gets a free copy, signed by Eldon.
Which Northwest river produced the most steelhead in January of 1990?

I am running to Nehalem to pick up the boyz. When I get back, I will check for correct answers and perhaps mail a book out???

I haven't the foggiest idea, but at least I can say I replied first!! It's gotta be some place in Washington, on some river I've never fished......... What about the Cowlitz?? Can I make some more guesses? Maybe the Columbia? The Rogue? Ok, I'll stop. I just haven't had my morning coffee yet.

If I get more than one guess (and the one I should have gone with the first time...) I'll say the NEHALEM.

Both Chnookie and Hairball are correct, however, chnookie was first, so chnookie wins!
E mail me your mailing address chnookie, and it's on its way!
The winner, The Sandy River, produced 3,427 which led The Rogue, where 2,667 were caught.
Surprisingly, the Cowlitz produced only 674 fish which was even below the Skykomish, which lead Washington that month with 1,314.
These and other interesting statistics are available in Eldon Ladd's book.
Tomorrow morning I am going to offer an even tougher one! This was TOOOOO easy!

Hey Chnookie, I need your address, or someplace to send you this book. You don't even have e mail listed here, so let me know, k?
