Take A Kid Fishing!

I live in TN and love to fish . . . . . Bass, trout . . . almost anything that swims!We make a couple of trips to the McMinnville area every year to see my Grandchildren. They are finally getting old enough to start fishing a little (the oldest is almost 6). Unfortunately, their Fathers do not fish!!

I have planned a visit for late September and was looking for someplace to take them in the McMinnville area. I found a listing for Withy Lake in the Amity area, but no other information.

Any infromation or suggestions would REALLY be appreciated.

PS - I read with interest the posting on night fishing. A few suggestion would include using black lights and florescent line. The line looks like 1/4 inch rope at night . . . can see bites better than during the day!

OK TN Rich we well tell you what we know but first it is an ifish tradition that all new ifishers tell a story. Tell us you best fishing story and I will give you all the info I have for fishing in the McMinnville area. Depending on the what day you are going to fish I might even be able to take you and the kids out.
