I've been invited to fish for Tuna on Tuesday out of Astoria. Our "Skipper" is extremely experienced, has all the survival gear, including Satellite Phone, and a very seaworthy one year old 24' Edwing. Now for the hard part.
How's fishing been the last few days? Am I in for a 75 mile run both in and out or are there fish a bit closer?
Mind you, this is my first time Tuna Fishing since 1959 at age 15 out of H & M Landing in San Diego.
Any current report would be very much appreciated!
