Any info onTown Lake?

Just wondering if anyone has fished town lake in pacific city. I am headed down there this next weekend and I plan on hitting Cape Mears early then possibly going to Town lake once we are down there, so any info would be nice

Towne has about 25 bass in it- they are easily some of the most beautiful fish anywhere. They are extremely difficult. There is an un-ending supply if forage fish in that lake so getting them interested in an artificial is tough to say the least. Your best bet will be at night or first light. You can catch fish in Cape Mears, though. Go pitch tubes into the reeds it's murder. Also, big topwters over any water that isn't choked by the grass. Dave
