Default Weatherby Sale

Found out this morning at the Local GI Joes that they were having an unadvertised 50% off sale on weatherby rifles. I picked up a fluted/composite/stainless 300 weatherby mag. (which I will try to make a buck off of) and a beautiful walnut Mark V 30.06 which I just might have to keep. Not sure if it is in all stores but it would be worth checking into... Joe

Salmonator,

I shoot a 300 stainless fluted like you picked up. They are very nice guns, infact I have shot 300 Wbys for 18 years. Never lost an animal yet. Best shot 490 yard in Idaho on a 5x5 whitetail 1 shot. that was a great find you made.

Do you know how long the sale is going to last? This sounds tempting enough to get me into the valley.

I would definately call any store you have to travel a great distance to. I know the Albany store only had two guns left, another 300 mag and a 257 mag but that was a few hours ago. Basically they said the sale lasts until the guns are gone, which I would imagine will be a day or two... Joe

Salmonator,

I just called three local G.I. joes and one store had a 243 they sold at 50% off. He said it was an overstock item and no others were on sale.
Whats the number of the Albany store?

thanks
John
