Default On the river - Day after Christmas

I know everybody is just itching to get out there tomorrow. New gear, improving water conditions, hopes of steelhead thrashing on the end of a line. So, where are we all going?

As for me, I will be on the Wilson tomorrow drifting with my dad from Mills to Sollie. Big green Willie driftboat. Hope to meet some ifishers out there tomorrow.

Good Luck,

Fishing..

On the Colunbia for the big boys, hoping for 1 more keeper. You all know just one more cast.
I have a 18.5' weldcraft green with a tan top, IF you see me give me a yell... WE have not decided between The Fishery or St. Hellens yet. Duck hunting also sounds good.

c 'n' d,
I sure wanted to hit the Wilson today from Mills to Sollie, but too much Christmas and too little sleep ended that idea. Oh well. Let me know how you did and what the crowds were like. Hope it was great. S

Kilchis River.... a bit low, you can see bottom everywhere! But I fished it off and on all day. N luck for this girl.
Some boats had luck, still!

Well, we went and now we are back. We drifted from Mills to Sollie with lots of company. The guide shop had 36 shuttles today! Unfortunately the fishing was not as I had hoped. We did manage to hook a fall chinook of about 25-30lbs. Took my dad for a ride on my Lami 8-12 rod. It was a buck that was turning dark, so we released him. Other than that, nothing. We did see a couple of steelies caught, mostly around Donaldsons. We are going again tomorrow, and I will report back how we do.
