Ray/Charlie - If I can't get a ride Saturday, I will be be available to help with the setup & cleanup. I have to go to Costco already so I'll donate Chinette dinner plates, plastic utinsils for 300 and knapkins. If I get a seat (looking unlikely), my wife can probably drop them off at Depoe during the day.

Charlie/Ray, I will bring catsup, mustard, relish, plastic knives, forks, spoons, enough for 250. If you already have this stuff just post and I'll bring something else.

Re: USCG Appreciation day, what we have, what we n
I have received a few requests for a start time for setting up.
Lets say noonish on Saturday. It shouldn't take too long.
Anyone who wants to show up around that time to help set up would be more than welcome.

You All ROCK!!!!
You too Ray!!!
Thanks for everyones kind offers of help and supplies.
The one thing that it still sorely missing is seafood.
Is anyone able to bring anything fresh or briefly frozen in the way of tasty treats from the sea?
My friend Thuan (Something Good) has offered some halibut, and a few folks who are headed out Friday are going to try and bring some crabs or other sundry plunder --however it is looking pretty bleak from a piscatorial standpoint for sea creatures
I have been out a total of once this year due to a few little problems I've experienced--so I'm without...
Last year we had enough to donate to the galleys of both Yaquina Bay and Depoe Bay by the time it was all said and done.
Any help would be appreciated greatly .

Re: USCG Appreciation day, what we have, what we need.
Folks, please take a moment to go through the list.
Verify that I have you down for what you are offering to bring and that it is accurate.
If I missed anything let me know. If something is wrong it is Wildhawgs fault... Just kidding... Let me know and I will fix it.
We are counting down to another great time...

Re: USCG Appreciation day, what we have, what we need.
My computer is down cold and I am flying blind.
I will be at Depoe on or before Noon on Saturday the 5th.
For urgent issues please call me on my cell phone.
I am listed on the Salty Dog Contact list.
Sorry for the PITA but it is out of my hands.
I am sure things will work out. We are a tight knit group that pull out all the stops to make things like this happen. I expect nothing less with this event.
We are still in need of crab and sea food.
Please help make this an event to remember. Come to the event and bring a friend.
This is all about paying tribute to the men and women in blue who put it on the line for those of us who spend time on or around the water. Lets make it special for them.
I'll see you there

Ray,
I'm sorry that I canned most of my Tuna. I can bring about 5-10 lbs of loins that I have frozen.

Re: USCG Appreciation day, what we have, what we need.
I plan on bringing a shrimp and cream cheese dip and a possible bundt cake. Do we still have a need for burger buns? chips? Hot dogs?
Let us know and we can pick some up and bring them.
Great job, as usual!!

Re: USCG Appreciation day, what we have, what we need.
The guys and gals are bringing over picnic tables to the park as i type. There will be approx 30 picnic tables for seating, as well we will have 6 or 7 tables to set up under the gazzibo(sp) for serving lines. The city has also let us barrow a very large round charcoal grill, I think the thing measures 4ft from side to side. We are picking up the 7 or 8 bags of charcoal to get it going. Many things can be thrown on this thing.

Outstanding Folks!!!!!!!
Somehow I don't think anyone will walk away hungry OR disappointed from the shindig
Rays computer is still down--so call me on my cell (Salty Directory) with any last minute Q's, or PM me, and I'll get back to you.
I'll be arriving before noon also--personally I can't wait!
It's my daughters 14th birthday  as well, so if ya remember, wish her a happy one.
Look forward to seeing you all Saturday--next year USCG Tillamook Bay?????

Re: USCG Appreciation day, what we have, what we need.
Mr. Fish,
I will be in Depoe and am looking forward to meeting Dogs.
I have grill at house that you are welcome to use and can assist as needed. Just let me know what needs to be done. Our place is on the corner of Bay and Conway. It is available for the Dogs use if needed.
The Oregonian ran a couple of paragraphs (two weeks)about the event.
If we do it again next year let's notify Chamber of Commerce. As a member I should have suggested it earlier.
They would have filled some of the needs and are a good resource. Look forward to meeting you.
The hole in the wall gang are the best. Thanks for putting this together.
