Default Re: what's up wit dat?

sgs,

The Wilson is starting to green up this morning according to Jen. It's around 6.1 ft. earlier this a.m., and should be in the upper 5's with a lot of boats on the river tomorrow. Hopefully there will be a lot of fish too. I think most rivers are going to be in shape and have some fresh fish in them tomorrow and the rest of the week, so there are plenty of options out there . - RT

Haven't heard much from the Siletz yet? Are they gonna have another good year for hatchery steelhead? I remember right around this time last x-mas there were some beautiful chinook still being caught on the Wilson. I have talked to a few folks who think that the "winter runs" of salmon on the Trask and Wilson are getting better. It does seem that way or maybe just more people are targeting them. Anyone else know more of the story? The Wilson should be a "zoo" tomorrow if the rain holds off. Not sure if I want to join the crowd or go somewhere else? Now is the time to get out there to catch a steelie. Good luck to everyone.
