Deckhand

My nephew Anthony just turned 14 and would like to work as a deckhand. I have been training him on how to tie knots, feel the "bite" and other fishing activities. He is helpful, hardworking, and dependable. Does anyone know of a deckhand job opening for him? Please let me know. My nephew lives in Waldport and wouldn't mind the least working out of Depoe Bay or preferably Newport for a charter boat or for a commercial fisherman going for tuna or other fish. My son does this and he got his job on the BLue Pacific. Have your nephew go down to the docks and talk to the charter boat Captains to set up contacts. Because of his age, and I may be wrong, I don't think he'll find a deckhand job at 14 years old. But, you never know, so getem down there and let him go introduce himself.
