Default Salty Boat in Boise....

There is a 27' Sea Sport Model Sea Pilot. Twin Volvos V6.

1992 Model Year. It looks like a 1992. The glass is chalky. But looks pretty well put together. Manifold have some corrosion but has a closed cooling on the engines. Have not had the nerve to call the owners. The wife is in town this week. Chistie Binkley has not returned my calls yet.

Triple axle galv trailer, good shape. Looks like it burns gas setting still. There is radar, cant tell the other electronics, but they look dated.

I wont tell you what they are asking. What do you guys think it is worth?

PS any open seats on the 5th of August? Coming over with my son would like to see what all the exciement over tuna is.

I just sold a 24' Sea Sport Explorer. When I bought it 3 years ago I did a lot of looking. I also paid attention to the market when I sold mine.

I personally wouldn't buy a Sea Sport with twins. Maintenance on one outdrive is more than enough. There was a 1992 Pilot with twins when I was looking. 3 Years ago they were asking $52,000. It sat for months. Several people that were long time owners of Sea Sports all said to stay away from the twin engine models, (I/O, not outboard.)

So, to answer your question, to me its not worth more than about $45,000.

Gelcoat can be buffed in a few days. $39k if it runs well during seatrials, more if the interior is in good shape and the electronics work. Hire a marine surveyor.

There was a 92 27' Sea Sport on D dock last year for sale with twins. They were asking $56k. It's gone now so I'm assuming it sold.

Seemed in the ballpark to the other Seasports of that vintage I've seen for sale.

75 K is what they are asking. They are quite elderly. I have noticed older people occassionally forget about depreciation.
