Default Sturgeon Fishing Columbia

Can anyone report on the amount of logs and stuff floating down the Columbia River as of today. Did anyone have a good day sturgeon fishing on the river? If so where were you fishing?

Does anyone have any reports on the amount of debris in the Willamette?

There is a lot of debris but doable.

I fished just below the Sandy and I can confirm that there was much less debris today than what was last week. The water is higher but a little warmer and my wife and I caught many shakers but no keepers. Also the wind was light.

There was quite a bit of stuff coming down the Columbia today, and nothing coming down Willamette. We fished up towards the MC in the Willamette and did pretty well. Caught over 30 total and many were in the 36"-41" range also got a 45" keeper that was released. Caught on smelt, pickled squid and herring.
