Default Tuna Questions Again

Sorry for the this post but being new to north west, I could use all the advise I could get. How far is Astoria Canyon from the nearest port. Any other Canyons or pinicles for tunas in North West under 60 miles distance??? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Intent is to go catch me some tuna. I just moved up here from Northern Cal. Fished that water for over 15 years and know it very well. Its different story up here though.

Thanks for the response btw.

Aha....another transplant. I came up here from Sonoma County 14 years ago....fished from HMB to SF to Bodega to Ft Bragg....for longer than I care to admit.

Have you been part of any gangs down there.....Coastside, Fullspeed, BATC, etc?

You'll have to come to one of our Tunaholics Anonymous meetings....and meet some of the tuna gang.

Only one condition....don't tell too many California friends how good the tuna fishing really is up here. Nobody believes it until they see it.

Welcome aboard! - Mark

Mark I guess you know how I feel, and yes even though we moved up here, I still am a Batc and Coastsider member. once in your blood, you cant get enough. I have been tunaless for almost a year now. I will however make a special trip all the way to HMB and SC in sept just for that. I was hoping to see more post on tuna subject.

Nice to meet you by the way.
