Default Farmer Creek

Sounds like the ramp might be out of commission. Does anyone know for sure? I'm trying to decide on the Wilson or Nestucca tomorrow.

The ramp at Farmer Creek is in bad shape but it's being used by many. I dont have a drift boat so I can't give you any specifics, but I believe you just back down on the downstream side. There are a lot of Steelhead in the river. Good luck.

The ramp at Farmer Creek is completely undermined. To drive a vehicle on the concrete ramp would cause it to collapse into the river. Some folks are using the river bank just down stream of the concrete, but don't make that your only plan.

I would suggest putting in at the Bixby road put in .....not too sure about the parking there, Also further upriver there is a put in next to one of the bridges. It's higher than Farmer Creek so that's a plus ! Good Luck

The concrete ramp is completely wasted. However if you have a four wheel drive and don't mind dragging your boat a few feet on the shore you can put in or take out right next to the concrete ramp. I have had no problem getting my boat in and out of there even with the low water we had all fall.
