Hello all,
Been watching the post for sometime and having friends keep me up to speed on what the bite was going to do. Saw that very cool feature of putting up open seats and buddy boat needs. It works by the way. So I figured I would sign up and post a hello to all. I met some of you at the T/A meeting a couple of months ago in PDX, had lots of fun and the excitment has been building up since then for me. Was bummed when I had a function that excluded me from the first tuna chase/turney. Sounds like I might have a second shot at putting a team up.
Seems like storys are part of the intro so I will include a brief one of me. Very brief...

Used to run a 22' Seasport called the Off Season until a "nearshore" rouge [not the beer] flipped me up near La Push Washington. 3 seconds was all we had before it was over. Life vest were in the v-birth, and ditch bag was out of reach by the time I made for the surface from inside the boat. If not for my best friend/buddy boat and the 15 short minutes spent soaking my B---s I would not have made it nor would have 2 other fellows. I can say that buddy boats work much faster than the CC plus it frees them up to go after the real rescues. Fast forward to now I run a 24' Seasport called the Second Season out of Illwaco and many other ports that my trailer will take me to. Much more tuned into saftey and not affriad to call it when it turns the wrong way. As it is more important to life to club/shoot/gaff and eat these wounderful gifts called fish.

I look forward to meeting more of you during the rest of the season either as buddy boats or welcoming you aboard the SecondSeason.

Take care

SecondSeason

PS. Oh yeah by the way managed to run out last thursday for a sneak attack before the winds were to blow and put the first tunner on board. Only one but it was a start of a summer to remember.

welcome to you I would love to fish along side you as a
buddy boat
I didn't soak my "ba... but I did get pulled of the rocks at depoe bay a couple of years ago
the Coast Guard did an excellent job of saving the boat as well
I lost power coming into the hole and ended up parked on the north side of the channel
Thank God for our coasties

Trevor, welcome to ifish and it was nice to meet you again for the second time at my slip. Glad to hear you put a fish in the boat out there before the big blow. See ya around the dock.
