Default Thought for the day

"The whole purpose of summer fishing,' the Old Man said, 'is not to worry about catching fish, but to just get out of the house and set and think a little. Also the womenfolk are very bad-tempered in the summer. The less you hang around the premeises the less trouble you're apt to get in."

I like it! Who are you quoting? And why are the women distempered in the summer? As if any self respecting fisher needed an excuse to wet a line!!

The bend is your friend!

Robert Ruark, The Old Man and The Boy. I got a book called "Wit and Wisdom of Fishing". It has all sorts of quotes and funny stories. I'll try to do a couple a week
