Default Pontoon Boats

I have considered getting a pontoon boat for the past couple of seasons. And I think I finally decided, that I am for sure going to get one.

From what I've seen, I really like the Bronco, more bag space than most pontoons, durable, lots of accessories etc. However, although in my fly shop they say that the Bronco is a good boat, they have been suggesting that I get a Pac 9 made by Outcast.

I plan on doing a lot of lake fishing and fishing in slow/medium flow rivers. And possibly pontoon some white water sometime down the road.

What have some of you, heard are the best pontoon boats? or even better, if you own one of these boats, what are the pro's and con's of it.

Thank You for your time

Welcome to Ifish, Nineweight. We will be interested in hearing about fishing in your area on occassion; especially what you are catching with a 9 wt. flyline on the Vedder and Harrison rivers . As for pontoon boats, or catarafts as they are often called, Jerry is very knowledgable and I would trust what he has sent you. Also you should find a lot of good info about them using our search feature by clicking on the icon toward the upper right side of the BB page here. - RT
