Re: Waaasuuuuuup
Finally, someone else from the South. How's Shelby County treating ya? I grew up in Alabaster, from age 6-14. Played football for Thompson all those years. LOL I even remember my old address. 640 12th Street NW
I attended the univ. of alabama so roll tide back at ya, but what the H@LL happened to the football season. I had to hang my head in shame. Welcome to Ifish, and good luck putting up with the greeners, liberals, and hippies on this board. Freedom of speech seems not to apply to this board so watch out or they will crucify you. How's the bass fishin' been? Riverchase Country Club lake has some of the best kept bass in that area, along with Bainbrook...it's 2 or 3 streets down from that lake in Riverchase. I finished up my years in Hoover. Also, there is a hidden lake back on the Hoover Met property that rarely anyone fishes.

Re: Waaasuuuuuup
Does anybody else think hey'yall is talking to himself?
Like maybe he created a second name so he would have somebody to talk real slow and drawn out with. Homesickness can do funny things to you.
And ye'all caint caaaall me no hippi.

Re: Waaasuuuuuup
For those that don't know ritalin for adults acts the opposite if what it does for kids.
adults get up on it, kids get down on it. so maybe what Giz said still applies

Re: Waaasuuuuuup
In my defense, I am not much of a steelheader, even though I fish for them from time to time, but I think to be called a steelheader; you would have to catch more than two. Now part 2 of my defense: I am smart enough to know that when you say roll tide you say it with 2 L's not "role" So either this is a poor attempt by Osprey to fool ya, or the guy moved from Oregon to Bama to work for Americredit...whom I do not work for. I got your "special needs" right here....

Re: Waaasuuuuuup
I resemble that remark.
I guess I can't argue, 'cause I have NO IDEA how many fish I've caught! 41 years is a lot of seasons, though, and my Daddy he were a mighty fisherman ...

Re: Waaasuuuuuup
RoooooleTide,
Welcome to ifish. It's nice to see someone else here on the board that has some common sense. I will be fishing the Nestucca this weekend, check back on monday for the report.
I have always wanted to go down there and fish the gulf with a fly rod. It sounds like a blast.
Did some salt fishing with a fly rod down in Cabo a few years ago. When I got to the dock the first morning with two fly rods in my hand eveyone looked at me like I was crazy. Within 5 minutes of leaving the dock got into a school of spanish mackeral. spent about an hour playing with those then went after some roosterfish, jack crevale and pargo snapper. By the end of the day ended up hookin 7 different species of fish (including a striped marlin which I ended up losing).
You other I fishers have not lived until you have had a fish that can swim 45 miles an hour hooked up on a 9 weight fly rod.
Any way sorry to ramble and welcome to the board.

Re: Waaasuuuuuup
You are making fun of me about the Backstreet Boys (whom I would like to meet on a dark backstreet) when you are bopping around on the water listening to the Spice Girls? Tell me whatcha want..what ya really really want.... You really aroused those women at Wal-Mart singing that, let me tell ya. This "role" guy is a funny, yet shady, guy. I can still spit chaw further than him.

Re: Waaasuuuuuup
"Bama"? Is that just south of Tualatin? Had a great fishing trip with Rags earlier this month. Caught a lot searun, steelies and 32# Hen nook. Lost even a bigger one on the Wilson. Old Rags is the best guide in the Northwest. Heard another son is in order? That great!! We will keep you posted on the fishing in the West. See ya.
Have a happy holiday season!!
