We had a good shot of rain last week that blew the rivers out for the first time this fall... when they fell back into shape both rivers fished very well.
The Elk is clearing quickly now, and without any rain it will fall into the unfishable catagory.
However, the forecast is promising and we may get the periods of rain we need to continue to fish well into 2001.
My boat has seen a large number of 3 year old chinook, and a just a few 4 year olds...last year was just the opposit. What will the last few weeks of the year bring us?
