Need some help on this.

April I went into the hospital for a, at the time a simple operation on my right hand, from what I have learned now that the operation should of lasted 2 hours, and I was there for 4.
The Dr I have seen for therapy, said this is one heck of a hack job.
I have been to therapy for 2 months, my right hand has 51 pounds of streight, my left has 158 pounds, from what the Dr, has told me, right after the operation, my hand should of been in a splint, I didn't get one for 1 month after the fact.
Now I can complain, but the V.A, paid for the hole thing, but they shopped it out to a Dr, and outside hospital, other than at the V.A hospital.
At this time my right hand is just about useless, can't hold on to a cup of coffee, can't use to pick up nothing.
So with this said-----WHAT WOULD YOU DO???????

P/S:: when they put the device to keep your air way open, they or I bit down so hard, ( I was Out ) that I split one of my molars past the gum line, and had my dentist pull it, and a in plant is going in, at no cost to me, the hospital said they well pay for it.

If I had medical insurance, I would go see a competent specialist pdq and get an opinion from an expert. If I didn't have medical insurance, I would still consider it, because use of my hands is pretty valuable to me.

Don't you live in Bend? I think that there are orthopods all over the place, and they must get bored between ski seasons.
