Default be nice

Ya never know who you'll meet on the river. I met a guy in Astoria fishing for those scary bottomfeeders. I was on Salmon Masters boat and this guy checks in a couple of times to see whats up??? I comment on his beauty of a boat. He nods! 3 months later I answered a trip trade. We met at Nestucca Sporting and I am sure I've met this guy some where before.... Not placing it for a while we finally figure out the connection. We fished all day, storms approching and no fish, days over. Gotta put your time on the water, right? Well, Greg is the proud owner of that dream boat and now I am hoping I may get an opportunity to see it up close and personal. Here's to being nice! .

Hi Toblerone, Thanks for the kind words and thanks for the fishing trip!! Yes, we'll get together and find some fish in that big mean red sled of mine.

The trip trader works, otherwise I would have never meet John, a very nice man and a serious die hard fisherman. After sharing the trip, the wind blowing 40+ and rain coming down horizontal. I drove by the Three River hatchery lot and there was John, rigging up a rod to bank fish. It was 4pm and we already spent the day fishing, John just couldn't get enough time in I guess.

Did you read about our mishap? I posted the story under the Hold-zit contest since the ordeal fit the story line. Thought someone could learn something by our misfortune.

Welcome John or should I say Toblerone and thanks for the memories,

Gregg
