Public Land use fire restrictions starting already
Well guys it's starting early this year it looks like the beginning of the run up to complete closure. You know that once the level is orange that timber companies will likely be shutting down their land also. If I remember correctly private timber land has in the past been one step ahead of state.

I heard the Mt Hood National Forest is going to level 2 this Friday. I think they're just paranoid with the forecast of hot weather. This is actually pretty late in the summer for any fire danger. I've been shut down in June in years past!
Now if it get's to 100 with 15% humidity and a 30mph east wind, that might make things interesting!

This happens every year last year it rained for 3 weeks during archery season and we only had access for 2 weeks.. We have to plan two hunts one here and one over East in National forest if we get closed out. Lets hope for some moisture in the next 5 weeks.
