Default How Heavy?

How heavy of an arrow are you guys all shooting out there? I currently am shooting full length GT7595's with a 100 grain head. I am pulling 62.5#'s back 31.5", what arrow would you shoot if you were set up like myself. FYI I am chronoing about 286fps, I have the speed to go heavier, Should I? Thanks
Ben

I don't know what your weight is on those but my general rule is 9 to 9.5 grains per inch.

I'm shooting a 2413 easton with a 100 gr. head, comes to about 500 grains. In my vintage 1994 hoyt defiant, I'm getting a screaming hard to believe 235 fps with the bow pulling back at 75 lbs.

I dont know how fast they shoot, but Im shooting easton axis obbsession 340 at 27 inches with blazers and a 125grn tip, weighing in at 444 grains from a 72lb bow.
weigh your arrows and check the kinetic energy calculator to see how many foot pounds your set up is generating.
There are many out there though, who believe heavier is better regardless of what the KE calculations tell you. My dad shoots CX hunter selects with 100grn tips that weigh 450grns out of a slower bow drawing 26 inches at 62lbs. Very slow, but he thinks its the way to go.In any case at 284fps your arrows would have to be super light to not be generating enouph kinetic energy.

I have an old compound ('79), set at 65#, i'm shootin' fingers, 31" draw length, 125 grain tip, my arrows are 32.25" long, Easton Epics w/ 340 spine and 9.5 gpi plus they're dipped to add weight, & 5" vanes.

They fly good enough!
