If you use your boat often, it would be better to pick a date, once a year and repack your bearings by hand....it is not very difficult, and will add years to your bearings. I choose Veterians Day, so far I have never forgot..my

I would guess the Model 1980 which is 1.980" would be the one but to be sure, here's the Bearing Buddy website that shows the different sizes & models...

I'm pretty sure my Baker driftboat trailer doesn't require bearing buddies. It has the grease zert in the end of the axel and a hollow center and a hole that the grease comes out to the bearings.

It's an older trailer but has always worked good for 2 driftboats now.

Don't they make'em that way anymore?
