Saturdays weather ?????
Saturday is starting to look pretty sloppy.
Sat
N wind 20 to 25 kt. Wind waves 5 ft. W swell 4 ft.
If your running be careful those winds are not looking nice.
They seem to keep building.

Re: Saturdays weather ?????
If that forecast holds, this deckhand won't be doing the non-tourney TUNA! adventure Saturday. :depressed:
15 knots and under will work, but with the hot valley weather forecast this weekend, it's unlikely to come to fruition.

Re: Saturdays weather ?????
The forecast is bouncing around, as you would guess. The thing I see that is working for us is, this morning it said 6 second swell timing for Wednesday, then after 8am it went to 10 seconds for Wednesday, now it shows 15 seconds Wednesday night. I dont care if the swells are 30 feet tall, if you get them far enough apart it isnt a big deal, and they appear to be spreading out. There is just no making a 4 foot wind wave comfortable on my boat, I might replace the phone books with pillows

Re: Saturdays weather ?????
Man, once they forcasted that 105 Temp for Saturday they turned on the wind forecast.....
They said those temps will go all the way to the beach as well.....
Hope the wind dies down for the tourny....

Re: Saturdays weather ?????
And... it's not really feasible to just do an a.m. TUNA! trip and be back before the wind reached the forecast, like halibut where it's just one fish per person and your done. :depressed:
"Oh great TUNA! gods, please knock the wind down, and bring the TUNA! in close"
Watching the forecast is like a really crappy roller coaster ride.

Re: Saturdays weather ?????
Heck, I have a brand new washdwon pump to install and I need to run power to the other GPS antenna. Need to rig the port outrigger, too. Working on the boat sounds better than frying in the valley!
