DSRods, I have a couple Loomis BackBouncers in the classified right now. I'm selling them and buying a some HSR (HotShot rods) Loomis instead.......Nothing wrong, just wanted different style rods.

I'm very happy with my G.LOOMIS rods, never had a problem before or after Shimano bought the company.

On a side note.....Being on either G.LOOMIS Prostaff or Guide program the last 8 years, thats all I've used till last fall when I bought a TH
Sage 290 drift rod.
I liked it so well, I just had Tom and Travis build me 2 TH Rainshadow 1143s's for Bobberdoggin Spring Chinook. .....WOW! their is a world outside of Woodland.

Default G. Loomis

By all means am I not trying to start any arguments or debates, but I am honestly curious.

Why am I seeing so many G. Loomis Rods up for sale? Is it because people are not happy with them, changing brands, not wanting to fork the cash, or getting differant Loomis rods? What is it?

I think cause there is sucha demnd, they sell well, with a high retail for a used rod, and they are very common.

I know I am seeling a couple of models cause I am changing my style to faster rods with more sensitive tips that where no available five years ago cause of graphite limitations.

I hear great things about your rods and will ahve to talk to DJ about tryin his out when we fish together.
