Hug Point State Recreation Site

Hello,

This park is just south of Cannon Beach. May go camping and am wondering if there is any fishing close by? Surf casting? Freshwater fishing?

Any info greatly appreciated.

Farther south, just before crossing a bridge and starting up the hill to the Arch Cape tunnel, there's a right turn off the highway and a small parking area at a state wayside/park. That's access to the beach and between the end of the road and the cliff is a large area that's good surf fishing...good luck.
