Default Sunday restrictions in Depoe?

With the improved forecast for Sunday am, what is the best guess for length restrictions out of Depoe Bay? 6' swells w/2' wind chop seems manageable in a 24' Willie. Any feedback is appreciated. By the way I am going with Little Admiral who is very fishy.

Depoe is less likely to have the restrictions with that forecast! Going out saturday with the same forecast!

Hope you and Mike knock them dead. Sea Jewell is fishing the lower St Helens area and not catching. Thought I would join him next week. Did finish strong the last week of June 8 fish for the week and 1 the first of July. Tell Mikey to save some for the rest of us.

Postman...no way to predict what the restriction will be. South wind usually makes the hole pretty nice, but it does not change the fact that once you pass the red buoy the protection of South Point is gone and the ocean can be sporty. Keep your eyes on the ocean, watch for the grazing sheep, that's a good indicator of a possible restriction.

The best thing you can do is call the Depoe Bay Weather phone, (541-765-2122) or if you are with in 3 or 4 miles of Depoe Bay, tune to AM 1610 for the current bar restrictions, wx, and wx forecast. Remember, the phone number you call is the same report as the AM 1610, one in the same.

Not sure how accurate the the NOAA predictor man has been.
Nothing beats putting your eyes on the pond.

Thank you for the comeback. No better feeling than coming through the hole safe and sound! Your presence is always appreciated and your words of caution heeded. Thanks again!
