Re: Sunday restrictions in Depoe?
Postman...no way to predict what the restriction will be. South wind usually makes the hole pretty nice, but it does not change the fact that once you pass the red buoy the protection of South Point is gone and the ocean can be sporty. Keep your eyes on the ocean, watch for the grazing sheep, that's a good indicator of a possible restriction.
The best thing you can do is call the Depoe Bay Weather phone, (541-765-2122) or if you are with in 3 or 4 miles of Depoe Bay, tune to AM 1610 for the current bar restrictions, wx, and wx forecast. Remember, the phone number you call is the same report as the AM 1610, one in the same.

Not sure how accurate the the NOAA predictor man has been.
Nothing beats putting your eyes on the pond.
Be safe, boat smart, know before you go.
