Default Photo Album manager, best one?

At this point in life I have gazillions of digital pics, over 20GB worth. Been 100% digital since '99. I keep them well cataloged and keep excellent backups.

HOWEVER, since I have so many it is a challenge to sort them by theme, or child/person etc.. I would like to see some sort of Album organizer that "tagged" pictures with attributes and allowed different ways to sort/view the pics.

So any thoughts on the perfect pic manager...what do you use and why?

Adobe Photoshop Elements. Easy: I didn't have to read anything to figure out how to use it. Cheap: I paid about $40-50 for it. Versatile: You can put as many tags as you want on a picture and it has a "Collection" tag that you can use to gather and sort by that makes it easy to burn CD's. It also exports to Premier Elements to burn DVD's.

I'm sure there are other good ones out there. This is my favorite.

Sounds like interesting software. I use Photoshop Elements and I like the downloading, tagging, timeline and editing features. If I didn't have Elements, I think I'd give Picasa 2.0 a try. Does it have cloning tool?
