Default Bobber fishing

After almost thirty years of steelhead drift fishing and thousands of steelhead hooked and landed....okay maybe more like hundreds...allright maybe more like oh never mind. I finally tried fishing with a bobber! I am wondering what took me so long to take up this type of steelhead/salmon fishing. I can think of dozens of holes where this type of fishing would have come in handy. Now all I need to do is catch something on this method. So who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Jennie you must have fished low on the Nestucca today because I was there at 3 Rivers. Hooked and lost one on eggs actually I was day dreaming and missed the strike.
