Isn't anyone fishing?

I fished a river up on the olympic peninsula and I didn't catch or see anything caught. that sucks. oh well, I am going to go floating a river next week and I will give ya a report.

There is a good early push of winter steelhead in many rivers. Until we get a good rain or further into the season I suggest concentrating on the lower stratches of rivers; they are there now! Use stealth and good low water techs and you should have good chances. One advantage in these conditions is less pressure out there, helping to make it worthwhile. After the next rain freshet comes and starts it's drop the rivers will be covered with fishermen. But there will be a lot of fish this year too . -RT

Fished the Sky today and the Snoqualmie and am flying the skunk flag. Stopped at half a dozen "hot spots" and never saw a fish or another fisherman with one. BS'd with several guys and we were all scratching our heads as to where the fish might be(It was very cold out and the water levels are low). Had a lot of laughs with the buds anyway but it was very weird seeing no fish(Should have been much better, thought). It just means next time will be better.

The topics have not reflected very much fishing lately,and I was just wondering if I am not the only one being held at bay by this cold weather and lack of rain.If anybody does venture to the sandy let us know what's happening.OH YEAH,People are catching sturgeon at Bonneville.........
