Linksys routers allow fast BitTorrent?

Does anyone know jpw to configure your router to allow fast BitTorrent downloads?

I've been trying to configure this and it's confusing to me. If there is someone out there that is good at this, I'd be willing to pay someone to come out and help us.

If not, I'd love to learn here!

with BitTorrent, you have to allow inbound connections as well as outbound to allowing the peering network connectivity.

Typical port range for BT inbound is 6881 - 6889. If you configure your router to forward requests to those ports to your computer, everything should be kopacetic. Outbound is generally allowed, so you shouldn't need to configure anything there.

The steps for configuring it vary a little bit between different versions of Linksys router, so if you post your router model, it should be pretty easy to find and post the steps for setting it up (like JCMD asked).
