Default CR area Salt Salmon Reports?

Anyone get out and salmon fish in the salt around the CR area the past couple days.

Lots of warm water in that area for bait compared to central coast.

Was out on Monday. 2 fishermen both with limits of coho. Pretty nice size for this time of year. Released several small ones and some natives. Used downriggers @ 25-35' with hoochies and anchovies.

Out on Monday - 3 fisherman. Had 2 small coho by 8:30. Ran for tuna - none. Stopped back at 3:30 and fished for about another hour and picked up one more.

Out on Tuesday - 3 fisherman. Ended up with 3 small coho, one king at abou 20#. We lost a bunch, and released a bunch. Pretty good action even though we didn't limit. We left early, however. I spoke with a number of folks that limited. Greatest concentration of boats was south of the CR.

KW,
How far south of the CR, not looking for exact numbers, but a mileage estimate would be great. Can't wait to get out.
Thanks

Here's my take of the CR fishery. Tuesday was slow for retention as the fish were biting really short. We ended up with 4 fish for 3 fisherman. No shortage of bites but due to using to small of hook (4/0) resulted in loss of fish.

Wednesday was another story. Fishing was darn good as the fish appeared to school up a little more. released 5 natives, boated 8 keepers for a limit, lost a few at the boat, a bunch of short bites, had 3 doubles and a great time on blue on my new ride.

As Key West mentioned the fish were most concentrated from the CR West 220 to 230 feet. Did not matter if you trolled N or S or E Or W.

Go get them! Fish were 5 to 7 pounds with some dinks in the mix.

What C & E said...... but look at the tides this weekend, it may be a little rugged early on. With the big ebb, may move the fish further out.
1 short of a limit on Tues, done early on Wes with some tips from Odin. No nooks for us, but nice size silvers.
Go get'em
