Hey Marty, the 35 pounder worked great! That extra 5 lbs makes a big difference. Btw...landed 2 steelies, a nice 10lb buck and a nicer 6-7lb hen. Even nicer was the 18" sea run, what a beautiful trout! (Let it go of course) A great day on the river, Nestucca that is. -Gary

WTG big GT! Now with that new anchor we can hold in some good water despite all the extra weight we stick in the boat .

That's right RT, even with all those perfect PB&J's your wife makes. Those things are good.

WW...I did get the anchor at Nestucca Valley in Hebo, $40 was a fair price for a good anchor. I would recommend a 35lb to anybody.

Thanks RT & Big Willie.I only have a 30# and it just doesn't do the trick in the faster water.
