Default Metal Head Mayhem (Final Day 13 of 15)

As the "Greatful Dead" once said...what a long stange trip its been...

Yesterday I fished with Hogback and as fate would have it...I totally stunk it up from the time I woke up and decided to make no coffee till I went to bed last night...

I suppose 13 days out of 15 will take its toll on the body physically & mentally...I was decorating the bottom & the trees like it was still the week before Christmas...To say the least I was not on my game and fished like the Blazers treat their fans....

OH well, I will report Hogback did much better going 1 for 4 but I would not recommend the Stren 10# whatever he was using...It allowed me to cracker off (Broken leder) 2 fish close to the boat...

Yes people...he felt bad for me and he was handing me the rod  (What are friends for anyway)

All in all I had a great 2 weeks off and met so many Ifishers...I don't know what the final tally was for the 13 days of fishing but who cares...It was a great holiday season and I enjoyed all the time spent with my son and my friends on the river.

Todays picture was taken with 2 Ifishers we gave our fish to because simply put...Hogback & I don't need any more fish and we just wanted to give this away to some good folks...

To Shark Bait & Wynot...It was great meeting you guys and I am sure we will see you soon on the river again...

Take care all & tight lines...

Fishalot....

I will become a weekend warrior after this weekend with the occasional Friday getaway if possible...

I really want to hook up with you & Tilla and do the springer thing...

We can take the big Hogback boat or the Hog Hunter boat... Both are roomy and are fish catching terminators...

I will send you a PM with my contact information...

Great job! Awful generous with the fish, you're a true sport.

I enjoyed reading your posts every day. When I passed you on the river I would tell my buddies "Yeah, that guy has been fishing for two weeks now!"

Back to weekends for me as well, see ya on the river.

I am never too proud to turn down handouts!

Even with the one fish you guys did better than we did. Another one of those, "Yeah it has really slowed down from earlier in the week. Shoulda been here yesterday....." kinda deals.

Oh well, I got some stick time so it wasn't a complete loss. And I got to see how many shades of blue my fingers could turn!

Thanks for the fish and I look forward to seeing you on the water another time.
