another archery question

im not quite sure what they are called im thinking the veins(the colored parts of the arrows that are usually in 3's)anyways one of my arrow's veins are kind of out of shape,i heard putting them over steamed water helps,any other helpful hints?thanks in advance

On plastic veins IE solid plastic use a hair dryer on hot. for feathers Use steam.
