Family and School use

As I see things turn more and more away from fishing, and onto things that I would be reluctant to show my kids, I just wanted to post a reminder. Keep it semi clean, k guys? I know I have been guilty also!
Kids are starting to use this as a reference in schools, and if it gets banned, I would feel awful!
Not only that, but I recieved two very heartfelt letters from Fathers that are concerned.
It doesn't bother me at all when a reference is made that would most likely go right over the top of kids heads, and I'm sure that is OK with most of us here.
Maybe I should start a kids board, but then they would miss out on all the wonderful advice you guys have out there, which is the reason I started Ifish!
Please don't take offense to this, I am only trying to keep it from going any further.

Agreed. I'm am the moderator Jen trusted here and I have become among the most guilty of getting caught up and carried away with 'adult' humor. Of course I blame part of my spiral on the bad influence of 'Yall and Osprey. Nah, jk. I have a mind of my own to use properly.

What has transpired in recent weeks is that many of us guys have turned the BB into an "out in the boat" camraderie and fun humor. And for moat guys that means poking fun at each other and also sexually oriented humor. It's a good thing, if we just keep it a good bit more benign, and above the younger ones if that's possible. If we use a little better judgement we can continue to have our fun on here, along with the fishing info. Thanks for the reality check Jen. Are you all listening out there . - RT
