Default Good day gone bad!

Came in to work today and.......well just another day at work. Then an hour later I found out that one my co-workers had passed away last night. I trained the guy, he and his girlfriend attended my wedding and helped out, she arranged my rehearsal dinnner, I rented a house from them for a couple of years. He was one of those guys that everybody loved and was always there for anyone needing help. He will surely be missed. At this time we still don't have any details or know what happened. I was joking around with him just yesterday before our team meeting. Darn-it........I'm just in a daze!

Sorry for crying out loud to you all but just needed to do something.

Bob

I hear you.

We had a co-worker (my best friend) and former owner of the business of 25 years pass on one morning out of the blue and it was one of the most difficult times in our company's history. To boot, he was fairly young at 59.

Things change. You shuffle duties and adjust to the new configuration.

Plan a wake and celebrate a persons life that is now over.

My Engineering Mentor died this year. We worked together for 10 years. It's hard. Very hard to grasp our mortality.

My prayers are with you all. this is difficult but not imposible. DO celebrate the life that was lived and realize the good that was brought to this world from his being here.

Sorry to hear that, Bob. Man, what a downer. I was out there today working in SCC. I thought about giving you a shout, but I was a bit pressed for time. Peace to you and your friends family.
