Last I heard he had 51 fish for the day and had to go because he had fish hanging. 35'26/123'03 to 35'00/123'10 -- Closer to Morro than Monterey, and even then not exactly close. Good to know that there's tuna out there though.

Okay, Mark and Mark, what does that mean for us? Are they spread all along the highway or are they concentrated and not quite here yet?

Written guarantees not required - just a guess and a gut feeling....

Jim, that means no fish up here so just stay home and feed the horses. No need going out. Maybe help Janis out in the garden? That lawn has been creeping up too. Put your floaties on and jump in the pool.

Jim
This is my take- from several source points-I repeat only my opinion.
I think because it's a la nina year albacore will be way offshore for central and southern cal. I think it means a good year for Oregon and possially nor cal it depends where the warm water sweeps in. As cape Mendo is a huge affect on us this may mean Cresent city /brookings will be the southern zoneOr maybe Eureka/Ft Bragg. La nina in past years has been poor for most of Cal as far as albie sport boats landing fish as they are so far out. This news has been passed to me by ones who know more than I . The News for you is it should be a good year for albies. Lets hope for calm seas and lots of ops to get them.We need central Oregon to cool off for the winds to die- so you can go find them. that is what this means to me. These fish are off the central coast quite a ways out now. The seamounts is where they always show first and thats where that single fish a few days ago was caught. Mark

Thanks, Mark, it's the waiting that's killing us. Sitting here remembering last year and how wide open it was at the end of June, and thinking somehow if the ocean would just lay down we could have a repeat of those times.

Just gotta wait a bit.

This shows that chlorophyll and why the fish are so far out down south. Some of Those fish are at the 35 n line.
